Awards Prize Pack to 1,000th ACE Coach to certify online
Oklahoma City, Okla. --- The Amateur Softball Association of America is
pleased to recognize the 1,000 coach to register for the ACE program
through the online platform. James Cutcher of Orlando, Fla. will receive a
gift pack courtesy of the ASA for being the 1,000 member to
register online! Cutcher currently coaches junior varsity at Lake Howell High
School and also coaches a 18-Under travel team called the
Lake
Howell Silver Hawks.
"I
am so excited to receive this prize pack," said Cutcher. "I learned about the
ACE Program from the asasoftball.com website. I was drawn to
this
course because of its description and how much content I could learn about
communicating with players, drill work, and the basic
rules."
With
a new online management and application process, coaches can watch the ACE
Coaching Certification instructional videos and complete their
"I
really enjoyed the online process provided by ASA," added Cutcher. "It was so
convenient to do the course in my own home and not have to
travel. The videos were outstanding and I really enjoyed watching them and
learning from the best. To be led my Mike Candrea gave great
validity to the program. Also, I really liked how I could go back and view
certain sections after the tests so I could keep the information
fresh."
The
gift pack includes a set of DVD instructional tapes, USA and ASA apparel,
magnets, posters, and much more! The ACE (Achieve, Certify,
Educate) Coaching Certification Program is a certification program, developed
and designed to provide softball coaches of all levels - from
beginning coaches to experienced veterans - an opportunity to certify as a
coach with the ASA.
