  Online Registration               

You can register your 2008 softball team or league online.  It is easy!! 

2008 Pricing:

     $7.00 per player/and/or coach for $250 deductible insurance and ASA registration

     $14.00 per player/and/or coach for for $0 deductible insurance and ASA registration

    $13.00 per player/and/or coach for for $250 deductible insurance, ASA registration and 2 picture ID Cards

    $20.00 per player/and/or coach for for $0 deductible insurance , ASA registration and 2 picture ID Cards

Coaches Background Check   $7.00 per coach.
 

***To Register Individually with the ASA of PA follow these 5 Steps: 

1.       Go to RegisterASA.com - click on 'home' in the upper left hand corner - select “Get a free login” - go to the bottom of the page and click on "sign me up now!"  - Answer the questions by using your e-mail address as the "login" and click "submit"  - An Email will be sent to you with your password (immediately after submitting your request)

        Select team if registering 1 team - Select league if registering more than 1 team

2.       Go back to www.RegisterASA.com - Select “Member’s Login” and login with your email and password

The menu on the left will update with new options

3.       Select “Edit My Association” and answer the questions if team OR Select “Edit My Info” and answer the questions if league

4        Select “Edit Players/My Teams” and Enter your teams/players/coaches if team

          Select “Upload data” and follow the instructions if league

      An Excel spreadsheet may be used to upload your information FOR LEAGUES ONLY- Teams please continue to enter the information individually. Use the buttons below to link to the spreadsheet you need.  **Follow the format in these spreadsheet. Complete all fields**

    
 **If you register with coach background checks you will need to complete a notice of background check form.  Get one here!

                              *  P or C = Player or Coach - MUST USE P or C

                              * FAST or SLOW = Fast pitch or Slow pitch - MUST USE F or S

                              *  Class = B if uploading a local league    Class = A if multiple teams that
                                    travel

                              * AGE = 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U or 18U

                                Phone nor e-mails are required information                       

 5        Select “Player Registration” and follow the instructions

 6        Print invoice and mail it and a check payable to the "ASA of PA" to the address on the invoice

 7        ***Your insurance certificate will be sent to your email address after receipt of the invoice & check.***

                 ***Picture ID's ARE NOT Required - they are an option

                ***BIRTH CERTIFICATES ARE NOT NEEDED UNLESS PICTURE ID'S ARE CHOSEN

Why is Individual Registration Better then Team Coverage?

       > Insurance cost is much less expensive.  If a team carries less than 16 players on their roster, your league/team will save money with  $250 deductible insurance.
        > ASA Registration fees are included.
        > Only one age group - easy to administer.
        > The coverage when you register individually follows the player when he/she participates on any softball team.   (When you team register the player is covered ONLY while playing in an ASA sanctioned activity.)

An ASA individually registered player/coach receives both $5,000,000 per occurrence of General Liability coverage and $250,000 of Accident/Medical coverage.  Which includes Sexual Abuse Liability.

* For those who have their own insurance, the policy supplements a member's insurance by paying for eligible expenses such as deductibles and co-payments.

* It also minimizes liability claims by providing accident/medical insurance to make the person whole without having to file a liability claim.
