FIRST TIME USERS TO REGISTER A TEAM TO REGISTER A LEAGUE FOR PHOTO IDS

Individual Registration Fees:
One Coach Must Be Registered Per TeamSame Insurance for Coaches and Players
Per Player/Coach:

$0 Deductible $17.00 per person Non Photo ID

Background Checks for Coaches Registered — $8.00 per coach
ATTENTION:
If you were registered with the former system for individual registration you will need to create a new username and password by following the instructions below. Your old username and password will not work.
Also, if you had registered for 2010 using the former system your information will be transferred to the new system within the next couple of weeks. If you need to add a player please do so under the new system.
Instructions:
GO TO: www.registerasa.com
. Create a Member Profile by clicking at the bottom of the page Create Member Profile.
2. Complete all information required:
· Personal Password must be at least 7 characters. Please remember your username and ID as this will be used as your sign on.
· Select Association/Select League
· Membership Type A person can register under more than one membership type such as team administrator, head coach, etc. (When you click on multiple roles this does not mean you will be charged a fee for each membership role.
· If you are the person to be entering the information and will be creating the team invoice please selectTEAM ADMINISTRATORif you are adding as teams or LEAGUE ADMINISTRATOR if you will be uploading your information as a league. YOU MUST CHOOSE EITHER TEAM OR LEAGUE ADMINISTRATOR TO ALLOW YOU TO ENTER INFORMATION
· When completed, click submit. You will then receive an e-mail. After receiving your e-mail you will need to click the activation link to activate your account with RegisterASA. (If you do not see an e-mail from ASA check your junk/spam folders).
· If you have chosen a league administrator you will need to be approved by the system administrator. These approvals are done in the am, noon and pm. daily If you cannot log in to upload your league information within 24 hours, please send an e-mail to [email protected] or call 717-761-0444 or 717-761-4508 and let a message along with your username
· Once activation occurs, you may now login as a new member using your username and password. Click the blue submit button.
· If you cannot find the activation e-mail from ASA, click lost password and you will receive an e-mail to change your password and then proceed as directed above. If you still cant activate your account, please contact Suzanne Robison at 717-761-4508 or 717-761-0444.
TO REGISTER A TEAM:
· After signing in at the home plate screen, click on the Teams/League tab at top of page. Click Team Tab.
· Click Blue Add New Team Button Message will say at top of screen team info successfully added.
· The team administrator takes care of the teams registration process, including invoices and insurance certificates. The team administrator can be the same person as the head coach or a different person.
· Under the heading registration type select individual registration.
· Complete Add a Team Info (All red* items must be completed)
· You are ready to build your team click on the Blue Add Member complete the player or coachs information and click the blue submit button. You will be taken to another form to complete the rest of the information. Repeat this process by clicking add to team & add new team member until each player/coach is entered. After the last entry click add to team
· When all info is completed click the blue submit button in the upper right hand corner of the page.
· You will then get a Registration Submission Confirmation verify address choose payment Check and click submit. Choose roster type and shipping method and the rest of the form will be automatically completed for you. Click blue submit button.
· You will get a message that the invoice has been generated. Review your invoice mail a copy of your invoice and a check made payable to ASA of PA to Suzanne Robison, 1081 Pebble Court, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
· Once payment is received and players are approved you will be able to print your roster and insurance certificates. You must add your additional insured and have been approved prior to being able to print your final insurance copy. You cannot print any final document until approved by the system administrator.
**You must include at least one coach per team**

TO REGISTER A LEAGUE:

TO UPLOAD A LEAGUE (use the excel spreadsheet (link below) and complete with your info DO NOT CHANGE THE FORMAT OF THE EXCEL SPREADSHEET IF CHANGES ARE MADE TO THE FORMAT OF THE SPREADSHEET THE SYSTEM WILL NOT ACCEPT THE DATA.
· After signing in at the home plate screen, click on the Teams/League tab at top of page. Click League Tab.
· Complete Add a League Info (All red* items must be completed)
· Please include in the notes section the number of teams in your league
· Click Blue Add League Button Message will say at top of screen League was added successfully.
· Complete one spreadsheet for each age group of players, complete one spreadsheet for coaches for background checks and one spreadsheet for coaches if not doing background checks.
· Click the Blue Upload Button, click next, choose player role for uploading players, for coaches that you wish to register for background checks choose background check and for all other coaches that you do not wish a background check choose none.
· Upload the spreadsheet and click submit. Repeat process for each spreadsheet. When all spreadsheets are uploaded click the submit button at the top of the page.
· You will then get a Registration Submission Confirmation verify address choose payment Check and click submit.
· You will get a message that the invoice has been generated. Review your invoice mail a copy of your invoice and a check made payable to ASA of PA to Suzanne Robison, 1081 Pebble Court, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.

You must complete the background consent form and forward to Suzanne Robison, 1081 Pebble Court, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.When the consent form is received your background check will be submitted.
FOR PHOTO IDS (this option is available only when you request photo ID cards in the registration process:
You may use a team photo to crop each players photo to form their ID Card One photo ALL players ID Cards.
· Click the browse link in the Photo box on the form to add a members picture for their ID card.
· Locate your team photo or individual players photos on your computer. Click next to upload the image onto your computer.
· A box will appear around your photo that will highlight a portion of the area of the picture — point your cursor to one of the end boxes on the photo drag in towards the middle of the photo to highlight and crop the person to create their ID card.
· When you have the photo cropped to your designated area click the finish button. After you crop your photo it will appear on your player or coachs profile page.
· To add photos for each player repeat the process by first going to the members profile page of the person you wish to upload a photo. You can get to the profile page by clicking on the members name on the team page (players names are located at the bottom of the page).
· PHOTO ID NEEDS TO BE HEAD SHOT ONLY.
